Editor’s Note

Yahia Lababidi wrote that aphorisms are “complete fragments.” This third issue of FragLit, on the theme of Philiosophical Notebooks, includes a number of aphoristic contributions (including Lababidi’s aphorisms). Other contributions consist of dated notebook fragments and a variety of philosophical musings (including anti-philosophy philosophies). The contributions contrast with one another in length, style, and content. The majority of the submissions we received came from male writers, hence the imbalance between male and female writers in this issue.

Also included in this issue is the third installment of Carlos V. Reyes’ “Fragments on Fragments” section, and a collection of short philosophical quotes compiled by me from my quotations notebooks.
