Editor’s Note
Welcome to the “Poem Fragments” issue of FragLit. We received a large number of submissions for this theme, hence the 16 contributions that appear here. Also included in this issue is the 4th installment of Carlos V. Reyes’ “Fragments on Fragments.” We didn’t receive any “FragNotes” submissions, and so I’ve contributed some of my own fragments for that section.
A wide variety of writings-on-the-theme appear in this issue, including: fragments from unpublished manuscripts; short poems that read like fragments in themselves; fragments from blogs; an essay about a poem fragment; a fragment from a piece about writing poetry; and fragments from poetry notebooks, including various ideas for poems in the form of lists—titles, first and last lines, and titles for chapbooks.
