Buser, Margaret A. – 25

Subjects:
Dogs; family life

Writing Description:
The memoir is titled DUDE. It is an epoch story about a dog and the couple he lived with. Dude was dumped from a car near the farm home of my sister and her husband. They didn’t need another dog but they didn’t get rid of him. I have written this book in my sister’s voice. She remembers the daily challenge that Dude presented to them. It is a story of love and aggravation. Other farm animals are included. There are stories of game wardens, illness, neighbors, the telephone party line and death. It takes place in the woods, fields, gullies and creeks of West Central Indiana.
